1. What CaliPOI is

CaliPOI is a free discovery and voting app for points of interest across six Northern California counties: Lake, Mendocino, Sonoma, Napa, Marin, and Sacramento. The kid surface is a curated card feed for ages 5 to 12 with stories read aloud. The adult surface lets visitors rate and rank places.

2. Acceptable use

• You may use CaliPOI for personal, non-commercial discovery.
• Do not scrape, redistribute, or republish the place data without written permission.
• Do not impersonate other users or attempt to manipulate the voting.

3. Information accuracy

POI descriptions are sourced from public records, Wikipedia, and curated editorial. We do not guarantee accuracy. Verify hours, access, and conditions with each location before visiting.

4. Kid surface

The kid surface (/kid) requires no account, collects no personal information, and is designed for use with parental supervision. Some interactive features (geolocation, voice mode) ask for an explicit parent confirmation before activating. See Privacy for details.

5. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of CaliPOI is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is zero.

6. Governing law

California, exclusive jurisdiction in Sonoma County.
